Scope and deliverables

Know exactly what’s included.

Pre-1978 buildings may contain lead-based paint. HUD-assisted housing and pre-renovation work can require certified inspections or risk assessments, and SBA loans on child-occupied facilities built before 1978 require a lead risk assessment plus lead-in-drinking-water testing on every new loan. We coordinate certified inspectors and risk assessors nationwide.

EPA/state-certified lead inspector or risk assessor

Lead-in-drinking-water sampling at all taps and fountains for child-occupied facilities

Report meeting HUD Guidelines and SBA SOP 50 10 8.1 requirements

Report signed by the certified inspector or risk assessor, then reviewed and co-signed by an Environmental Professional

What does the SBA require for a daycare loan?

For child-occupied facilities built before 1978, SOP 50 10 8.1 requires a lead risk assessment and lead-in-drinking-water testing at all taps and fountains children may use, conducted within one year of the date the SBA loan number is issued and repeated for each new loan.
